Laura
Specialist Childrens Physiotherapist
Founder of Little and Beyond Physiotherapy
Laura is a Specialist Paediatric Physiotherapist with over 11 years of experience working across all key areas of physiotherapy. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy and works both privately through Little and Beyond Physiotherapy and within the NHS as part of the Paediatric Physiotherapy team.
Laura has experience in elite sport, high-level youth sport and paediatrics. She began her physiotherapy career with the GB Bobsleigh Olympic and Youth Teams, an opportunity that shaped her journey into Musculoskeletal (MSK) Paediatrics. Laura has particular interest and experience in supporting children with lower limb injuries, sporting injuries, and baby foot conditions such as talipes, as well as plagiocephaly and torticollis.
Laura’s aim is to deliver high-quality care in a child-friendly, personable and engaging way. All physiotherapy sessions led by Laura are designed to be fun, informative and tailored to your child’s individual needs.
Laura is dedicated to helping your child reach their full potential, providing support not just in their physical development, but also in building their confidence. She takes the time to listen to both you and your child, ensuring a collaborative and holistic approach to treatment. Whether it’s a baby taking their first steps or an active child recovering from a sports injury, Laura is here to guide you through every step of the way.
Outside of work, Laura is a mum of two young children and has a strong background in a variety of sports, including rowing, swimming, running, football, and skiing—sports she grew up loving. She continues to prioritize being physically active as an important part of her week and is now enjoying teaching her young children to ski, passing on her passion for movement and outdoor fun.
